Giourgas Cottage Apartment
Giourgas Cottage, is a complex of two small country houses, ideal both for those who want to relax and live unique peaceful moments, as well as for those who are looking for an alternative way of vacation, close to the nature. At a distance of 20 kilometers from the port of Adamas, [40 minutes by car] of which 7 kilometers are on a dirt road, you will find our property. Built in the southwestern remote district of Xilokeratia, at the foot of the highest mountain of Milos, Prophet Ilias.
The main house 48 sq.m. with a utility house of 19 sq.m. are restored, according to the traditional architecture of the area of 1852. Made by local stone outside and internally the layout has been preserved with the special ceiling made from the local trees, the old wooden beds and the internal fireplace that was used for cooking as well as for heating the space.
The main house is furnished and has 3 extra-double traditional beds that can accommodate till 6 people (“tavlota” as they are called in Milos), has Wi-Fi, an air-conditioner, 2 heat emitters, a fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV, indoor fireplace, outdoor barbecue and a traditional wood oven. The
property has 3 large courtyards on different levels overlooking the wild landscape of the rocks and the settlement, but also a minimal view of the blue Aegean.
